The British ecological society is currently inviting proposals for her grants for ecologists in Africa 2018. The grant provides financial support to ecologists in Africa to carry out innovative ecological research. This organization also helps these African ecologists to develop their skills, experience, and knowledge base. They also help to create connections between these African ecologists and their counterparts from the developed world. All successful applicants will receive two years of free British ecological society ( BES) membership as well as free online access to BES journals.
Funding Information
For this grants for ecologists in Africa 2018, a cash prize of 8,000 British pounds is awarded to the winner of this grant program. An additional sum of 2,000 pounds can also be requested to help fund your travel so as to help you build connections with other ecologists outside your usual peer group.
Grants For Ecologists In Africa 2018 Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for the application for this grant, you must:
- Be a scientist from an African country or its associated islands that has a very poor economy or a lower-middle-income economy as released by the World Bank Categorization.
- Have at least a Masters Degree certificate or its equivalent degree from a well recognized higher institution around the globe.
- Be a staff of a university or a research institution in Africa that provides basic research facilities.
- Carry out the research for which you are applying for the grant in an African country or its associated islands.
