The Total PLC energy access booster grants for entrepreneurs with energy projects in Africa is currently ongoing and applications are welcome from across Africa. Energy Access Booster grants is a call to support entrepreneurs in the field of energy access in Africa. The focus is on green mini-grids, sustainable mobility, refrigeration, or energy for drinking water and agriculture. With the understanding that access to reliable, affordable and clean energy is one of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals; and reaching this goal means that there will be electricity to 1 billion persons and clean cooking systems to about 3 billion people by the year 2030. Five selected entrepreneurs will benefit from this grant.
The Focus Areas For Total PLC Energy Access Booster Grants For Entrepreneurs With Energy Projects In Africa
This grant will cover projects in the deployment stage focusing on one of the following areas:
- Green mini-grids
- Sustainable mobility
- Refrigeration
- Energy for drinking water and agriculture
Total PLC Energy Access Booster Grants For Entrepreneurs With Energy Projects In Africa Eligibility
- All applicants must be of African origin
- The project must relate to either of the four mentioned areas of focus mentioned above
- The project must be carried out by a legally established entity and also properly incorporated
- The project must be carried out in sub-Saharan Africa8
