Ugochukwu Obi-Chukwu is a Nigerian Accountant who has garnered over eighteen years of experience majoring in financial management, corporate finance, and change management.

He worked in Ikoyi Hotels Limited between the years 2011 and 2013. His job description was Financial Controller. After the hotel was privatized, Ugochukwu Obi-Chukwu helped redevelop the hotel and also helped to get a management contract. While the development of Southern Sun Ikoyi Hotels Limited was ongoing, he helped to secure over 100 million dollars to facilitate the development.
Ugochukwu Obi-Chukwu also worked at Ikeja Electric Distribution company as a Senior Accounts Manager in 2014. It was during his time there that the Revenue Mobilization, Monitoring, and Assurance Unit was set up. This unit was instrumental to the turnaround of the commercial performance and aspect of the business.
While at Ikeja Electric Distribution company, he was promoted to Acting Chief Commercial Officer in 2019. Shortly after, he became the Chief Marketing Officer. Ugochukwu Obi-Chukwu has also helped with the implementation of strategies that will help increase revenues and reduce losses for the company.
Besides that, he is also in the business of positioning Ikeja Electric Distribution company for excellence and turning it into a world-class utility company that will also serve to provide other non-energy related services to customers in and out of the operation sphere.

After Ugochukwu Obi-Chukwu began blogging in 2011, he established his very first blog, Ugometrics.com. In the year 2013, he kicked off Nairametrics.com substituting the “Ugo” for “Naira”. The purpose of changing the name was to show that the articles and financial advice is given were not personal opinions.
What he desired was to form a website or forum where experts in the analysis could analyze the news and provide useful information for investors and anyone looking for information that can help create and sustain wealth. He also wanted a site that would be relevant to newbies in Investment. He wanted it to be a place to read financial news and information in a simple and descriptive manner.

Ogieva Imasuen is a Bachelor’s Degree holder in Computer Science from the University of Greenwich, London, United Kingdom. He has had a great deal of experience as regards Online marketing strategies and content creation. This experience was garnered when he worked as Chief Content Creator with Graphinitions Design Studio and Crane and Magic for a little above seven years.
