Nabanna Scholarship is Funded by West Bengal Chief Minister Relief Fund WBCMO to students who deserve the award.

This scholarship is yearly, and is offered to students who performed excellently in the Madhyamik 10th Examination or Higher secondary 12 school examination or any university examination. Perhaps you can alway reapply if you didn’t get the scholarship.

About Nabanna Scholarship 2022

The application process for Chief Minister Relief Fund Nabanna Scholarship is an Offline process. There is no specific application form published by the WBCMO authority. You can download the prescribed application form online.

Fill the complete application form with your correct information. Then attach a copy of the required documents with the Application form. When the process is completed, submit this application form to Nabanna, Howrah, jalpaiguri, or Uttarkanya.

Application forms sent through a speed post won’t be accepted. When you submit the application form at Nabanna or Uttarkanya, a copy of receipt will be given to you. This is proof of your application. There is no last date to apply for the CM Relief Fund Scholarship Scheme.

Nabanna Scholarship Last Date

There is no last date for the Scholarship application. All applicants are encouraged to apply for the scholarship to be considered eligible.

Who is eligible for the scholarship?

Eligibility Criteria:

Students who have secured not less than 65% marks in Madhyamik Pariksha or 60% in higher secondary examination or 55% marks in the honors subject. Students who are not availing of any other government scholarship for the same course.

The following are the eligibility criteria of the Nabanna Scholarship:

Applicants should be a resident of West Bengal.

The Scholarship is merit-based; hence applicants must have scored at the minimum score of 65% in the 10th examination for the 12th level.

Applicants at the PG level should score 55% marks in the graduation.

Applicants in the 12th UG level must have scored a minimum of 60% marks.

Recipients of the scholarship can only study in a State-aided university in West Bengal after writing and passing the State Board Council of Secondary Education.

Recipients of other state scholarships or stipends for the same course or at the same stage of study are not eligible for the Scholarship.

Annual Income of the Applicant’s family should be less than Rs.60,000

How to apply for the Nabanna Scholarship

The scholarship application is required offline; however, all applicants have to download the scholarship form online.

Make sure to fill the application form with the correct information. Attach a copy of the required documents with the Application form. After finishing all the process, submit this application form at Nabanna, Howrah or Uttarkanya, Jalpaiguri.

Please don’t send your application form and the attached documents through a speed post, as they may reject your application.

Once the scholarship form is submitted, a receipt will be given to the applicant as proof of the application.

Photo-Copies of Mark Sheets of all exams taken by the applicants

A Copy of Reference from MP/MLA declaring monthly family income of the student.

A Self-declaration form attesting that the applicant’s present course of education and details of year/semester and receipt of any scholarship/aid/assistance are true and correct.

Copies of Rank Card and Allotment letter of Selection Committee (only for JEE or Equivalent Examination)

A Copy of Monthly Family Income Certificate from anyone like-DM/ SDO/ BDO / Group-A Govt. Officer not below the rank of Joint BDO/ Executive Officer in the Municipality / Deputy Commissioner of Corporation.

After the screening lucky scholars will get INR 10,000 Per Annum. Applicants can check the Nabanna approved list to receive their reward. The list of the shortlisted applicants will be announced on the official website.
