Folake Cocker whose full name is Folake Folarin-Cocker is a Nigerian fashion designer and the founder of Tiffany Amber a clothing and lifestyle brand.
Background│Family
Folake Cocker was born in 1974 in Lagos, Nigeria. She however went abroad for her education, she studied in Switzerland and the United Kingdom. She went on to get a postgraduate degree in petroleum law and then came back to Nigeria to start up her business.
Folake was married to Folorunsho Cocker, a Nigerian businessman. The marriage however did not last as they both got a divorce and went their separate ways.

Career
Folake Cocker launched her brand- Tiffany Amber in Lagos in the year 1998. The brand today has four stores and boutiques in Lagos and Abuja and has grown to be one of the most iconic in the country.
Folake Cocker went on to become the first recipient of the African-based designer to stage a show two times at the New York Fashion Week. She was also the first person to receive the “Designer of the Year” award at the African fashion week in 2009 in Johannesburg.

Accolades
