Ramsey Nouah (full name Ramsey Tokunbo Nouah Jr) is a Nigerian actor.
Background
Ramsey Nouah was born on the 19th of December, 1970 to an Israeli father and a Nigerian Yoruba mother in Edo State. The half caste actor grew up in Surulere, Lagos where he attended Atara Primary School and Community Grammar School. He went on to get a diploma in mass communications from the University of Lagos.

Acting Career
Ramsey Nouah always knew his place was in Nollywood and he wasted no time in going after his dream career. After getting the diploma he set off to start his acting career. By the time he was 21 he starred in the popular Nigerian TV soap opera Fortunes where he played the role of the character Jeff. The show ran from 1993 to 1994, it launched his fame and made him one of the most easily recognised faces in Nollywood.
His role in the 1996 movie Silent Night solidified his acting career. He went on to star in a host of other Nollywood movies where he mostly played romantic lead roles. This earned him the “lover boi” title. In 2004 he starred in the movie Dangerous Twins. His performance as both the good and bad twin proved to fans and critics alike that he can handle and interpret any character given to him, and not just the “lover boi” roles.
He went on to star in other block buster movies like The Figurine in 2009. With his face on numerous movie posters, his fame grew beyond Nigeria and to other African countries.
He has of course bagged many awards for his contribution to the growth of the Nigerian movie industry. In 2010 he won the African Movie Academy Award for Best Actor in a Leading Role for his performance in the movie- The Figurine.
Ramsey Nouah is considered to be one of the best and most sought after actors in Nollywood.
He is married to Emelia Phillips-Nouah and together they have two sons- Quincy and Camil and a daughter -Desiree.
