Ayodeji Richard Makun popularly known by his stage name A.Y is a Nigerian comedian and media mogul. He is an actor, a comedian, a radio and T.V presenter, a director and an MC.
Background│Family
A.Y was born on the 19th of August, 1971. He is the oldest of seven children. He attended Delta State University, Abraka and graduated after nine years. He started pursuing a career in showbiz while still in school, he soon became the most popular theatre arts student he bagged many campus awards.
He is married to Mabel and together they have a daughter- Michelle.

Rise to Prominence
His work as Alibaba’s personal assistant and event manager gave his career a boost into limelight. He directs and acts in the popular sitcom AY’s crib and also hosts one of Africa’s largest comedy shows- AY live where he features other popular comedians like Bovi and Helen Paul.
He owns a Club House and is also the CEO of Corporate World Entertainment, Nigeria.
